Mary K. Foster, PhD

Mary is our marketing researcher par excellence. She creates customized survey tools and
processes for our clients to measure employee satisfaction, gather intelligence on competitors and obtain customer feedback. Mary also works closely with other Pickard & Laws consultants in forging economic development strategies for cities. Mary is a professor of business at Ryerson University and a prolific author of several books and papers on marketing, market research, strategic alliances, entrepreneurship, women in management, the value of the voluntary sector and the growth and impact of homebased/micro- businesses on our economy.
